The theme for the October challenge over at Just For Fun is buttoms and bows and so I chose to make a card using this sheet from craftsuprint as I love the bright colours used on it.
I printed the sheet on to a 160 gsm super smooth paper and cut out all
the elements. I mounted the topper firstly on to some old gold coloured
pearl paper that I had in my stash and then on to some dark green card. I
layered up the pyramage and decoupaged the bow using foam tape and then
I added a button with a little ribbon bow and some glittery flowers
that I had in my stash for a lovely cheerful card.
I hope you can join in with us and there is a great prize of a scor-buddy and paw print stamps that have kindly been donated by Susan (DT) up for grabs to the winner.

Seemacrafts October Challenge
Today sees the start of the October challenge with the theme of autumn colours over at Seemacrafts and I thought for a change I would make a male themed card. I struggle with cards for Men that don't have the usual themes and not all men are in to the football and fishing etc, so I thought I would make use of the Debbi Moore Steampunk CD I have in my collection for something a little different. I love Debbi Moore's CD's as they images are great and most are easy to cut out.
I printed my papers and decoupage on to super smooth paper and cut out all the elements and matted the backing paper and contrasting paper onto so brown pearl card, I stuck these on to and A5 card blank and then assembled the decoupage on to the card front using 1mm foam tape. I found a small clock charm in my stash and added this to the front of the card to, for what I think is a nice alternative to the usual men's cards you see around.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join in with the challenge over at Seemacrafts. The challenge this month is being sponsored by Seema herself and the winner will receive a £10 voucher to spend at Seema's shop which can be found here.
